Blog: Killer Leg Routine


Today, I want to share with you all my KILLER leg workout! If you are like me, working legs can be tough and frustrating as it can take a while to see results! I made a committment to myself to work lower body once per week (using weights) to really target my lower section..hence...my butt and thighs...which like many women, this tends to be a problem area that needs a little extra attention! (So to speak) Well, let me tell you, this leg workout will show your lower half some attention...so much that I could feel the pain for THREE whole days..that is right, I said THREE! (I do not think I spent enough time stretching after, so make sure you leave youself plenty of time for this)

Okay, if you are ready for a KILLER Leg Routine here it is....

(Do three sets of each exercise back to back with no rest, do leg extension first immediately followed by smith machine squats and repeat twice)

Leg Extension 12-15 reps
Smith Machine Squats 12-15 reps
REST 1 Minute

(Do three sets of each exercise back to back with no rest, do leg curls first immediately followed by stiff leg dead lifts and repeat twice)

Leg Curl 12-15 reps
Stiff Leg dead Lifts 12-15 reps
REST 1 Minute

(Do three sets of each exercise back to back with no rest, do leg press first immediately followed by reverse lunges and repeat twice)

Leg Press 12-15 reps
Reverse Lunges 12-15 reps (I used the smith machine)
